SCHOOLS SUPPORT SERVICES
We manage challenging behaviours that can bring harmony back to the classroom, release for some pupils and suport where exclusion has been the only option previously. We offer this support service to teachers across Scotland.
Pupil Equity Fund
We currently work with schools in many areas across Scotland, to help raise attainment, using PEF funding. We are an approved supplier as part of the open framework agreement for the Scottish Attainment Challenge and Pupil Equity Fund in North Lanarkshire Council and The City of Edinburgh Council.
If you have pupils within your schools who are stuggling to cope in class or are causing disruption within the class - we can help. Our staff have become an integrated part of the school base and can take young people into the community to learn as an alternative to class, whilst still maintaining their educational needs within our accreditation framework. We also aim to work with the serial non attenders who no longer engage with schools.
SQA Approved Centre
We are an SQA Approved Centre and focus on maintaining educational needs. We adapt our way of teaching to a way that the young person wants to learn and focus on improving literacy and numeracy skills. We can also complete a Personal Development Award which gives them an SQA Approved Qualification, which is especially beneficial for pupils at risk of not achieving any other qualifications.
Bringing harmony to the classroom
We manage challenging behaviours that can bring harmony back to the classroom, release for some pupils and support where exclusion has been the only option previously. We offer a service to manage anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), mental health or any reason why young people are unsettled in school. This service is then extended out to the family where we provide a wrap around service of care and support. We offer this service at all stages of education and also at transition stages, from primary to secondary school. This can also be a transition for leavers or general wellbeing across the curriculum. Our qualified staff include social workers, teachers and child psychologists. We provide crisis intervention, wrap around care and we also have a 24 hour helpline.
