It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults. Early childhood and transitions to secondary education can be stressful. We offer services to establishments, parents and children to support early intervention and improve outcomes for Scotland's Children through a wide selection of personalised packages for younger children. PDA in Family Learning

LOVE provides accredited personal development awards based on family learning. We cover topics related to experiences that parents have or may face in the future or cover topics that are of interest to the parent relating to their child/children.
The SQA personal development award is delivered over a 10-week programme. Parents that attend PDA groups have the opportunity to interact with other parents, share ideas and strategies and build confidence and self-esteem. Throughout the programme we look at 4 topics - self-awareness, self in work, self in community, practical abilities. Not only does the parent learn more information relating to ro effecting their children but about themselves, their skills and abilities.
Programmes are tailored to suit group needs and LOVE has a specialised staff team such as: educational psychologist, early years specialist, employability team and many more. Whether it is more information on ACES and resilience or help to write a CV, we tailor the programme to you.

LOVE develops and delivers all-inclusive early years training programmes which will enable settings to meet the required standard expected for registration and inspection by Care Inspectorate and HMIE.
We provide training focused on all aspects of early years documentation, theories and standards.
As an SQA approved centre we are able to provide SVQs 3 and 4 in social services children and young people and also PDA level 9 childhood practise. Whether it is a requirement on your SSSC registration, or you would like to take your qualification to the next level we provide flexible delivery while you remain in employment.

Elearning platform

It can be hard to bring staff together out with normal working hours for training especially after a hard day or weeks work. LOVE provides training course not only in person but through our elearning portal. These courses still provide the same high quality training but with the flexibility to be undertaken at times suitable to staff.

Sports programme

LOVE has developed a child friendly sports programme that aids children with resilience, self-regulation and mental health. Our programme runs over six weeks and links directly to Curriculum for Excellence outcomes. The programmes are delivered by sports specialists to ensure the children not only have fun but develop new skills.
