Our aim is to help and support each individual reach their full potential in all areas. This is achieved through the experience they have based on a holistic approach. You will have a wide and varied range of duties in depending on the setting. You will need to take time in each setting to become familiar with the different policies and procedures in the different establishments and contribure to the general administration and organisation in the setting by:

  • Supervising indoor and outdoor areas, and where appropriate, developing skills
  • Support individuals with toileting and clean soiled individuals if necessary
  • Cleaning up of spillages and bodily fluids to ensure sage conditions for individuals and staff
  • Preparing, supervising the issue and consumption of food stuffs
  • Basic maintenance and care of equipment such as visual and aural aids etc. this includes laundering and repair of such items where possible
  • Preparing and planning activity suitable for each individual
  • Administering medication following strict medication procedures
  • Undertaking the basic hygiene routines of the settings such as refrigerator checks
  • Occasional general clerical duties such as filling out paperwork or information sheets
  • Contributing to the general security according to the setting
