Quality of Support
Our aim is to ensure our clients receive the quality of support we would expect for our own friends and family to live life their way and to participate as much as possible in their communities.
All our staff receive mandatory training which includes; Moving & Assisting, Medication, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Health & Safety, Personal Care, Stoma/Catheter Care, Bowel Management, Adult Support & Protection, Dementia Excellence and Palliative Care and Infection Control.
We also put our staff through continued professional development and ensure they have access to SVQ in Health & Social Care at various levels.
Complex care packages
For complex care packages we ensure that the care staff are fully trained in Dementia, Palliative Care and Monitoring & Operating Ventilators.
We also give staff additional training to meet the individual needs of the person we are supporting. By doing this we can focus on the person's quality of life and help them achieve their chosen outcomes within the care plan.
